The wind didn't fill in until 2pm today but normal service was then quickly resumed. Maxed 4.5 weather. Again. Too much for enjoyable controlled riding or jumping. Getting tired of this now. (but musn't grumble...)

A still big (logo) and clean swell made it look really nice out there but I didn't have a good session. Still tired after yesterday's manic conditions I was not at all "in the zone" today. Scored a couple of ok waves but then had a nasty wipeout where I got trapped underneath my sail in only waist deep water on the reef. My back/shoulders took the brunt of the impact as the waves bounced me over the rocks resulting in some nasty war wounds. Ouch.

So I cut my losses and retired to the comfort of the hill for a photo taking session. Not really bothered about having an off day as the forecast for the rest of our trip is just incredible. Now 13 in a row and we should be sailing every day until we leave plus another huge NW'ly groundswell is scheduled to arrive over the weekend...
